Our 2COOL Gear™ products use Hydrogel Technology to absorb water, that evaporates and cools for up to 48 hours. By soaking in cold water, the Hydrogel Technology absorbs water that is then released slowly through evaporation resulting in up to 48 hours of cooling. 2COOL Gear™ hydrogel technology means the surface of the vest remains dry and comfortable while cooling you.
Change in temperature? If the temperature rises, the 2COOL Gear™ Hydrogel Technology works harder … evaporation takes place faster so cooling will be stronger!

How it Works

2COOL Gear™ technology mimics the perspiration process through evaporative cooling – perspiration evaporates at the skin, which extracts energy in the form of heat.

Is it okay to use laundry detergent?
Avoid using detergents with 2COOL Gear™ garments. Refresh 2COOL Gear™ garments in the washing machine or by hand with a small amount of soft soap.
How do I store my 2COOL Gear™ vest for a longer period of time?
Before storing for the season, make sure the 2COOL Gear™ garment is completely dry. The 2COOL Gear™ ‘pockets’ will start to feel soft or ‘granular’. When the product is completely dry, store in a closet or drawer as you would any other item of clothing.
How do I know what size to order?
In all of our 2COOL Gear™ vests the cooling panels are mainly located on the chest and the back. To get the most out of those cooling panels, it is really important to approximate the width of the chest as accurately as possible. Click here for our measurement guide.
Can I reactivate my 2COOL Gear™?
If you treat your 2COOL Gear™ following the directions on the User Instructions (see inside back panel vest), you can easily reactivate it hundreds of times.
